how much am i obliged/should help with getting cover staff for my dept whilst on mat. leave?

  1. contact your union - i'm fairly certain this is illegal.
     
  2. I can't involve the union. Any other ideas pls for things that I can do/could offer to diffuse the issue?
     
  3. reply that you are on maternity leave until september and that whilst you are happy to come in and help with the interview process as KIT days, you are sure they are more than capable of running the dept without you until sept.
