How long does ECRB last for??

Discussion in 'Supply teaching' started by shalteir, Mar 23, 2011.

  1. CRBs are supposed to last three months after last employment with a particular employer, or three years when in continuous employment with a particular employer. You need to apply for a new one.
  2. OMG really - then how did i work on supply longer than 3 months after qualifying.
I cant apply for one as an individual and not employed by a school either. The LA pay my wages (if and when I work??) can they arrange it as would be happy to pay the fee myself?
Not sure how I can get one without a job as been approaching schools directly??
  3. You don't need to be in work, you approach your prospective employer, sounds like your LEA, to update you. If you've worked off your old one, well not all check that closely, but most do insist on within last three months for portability.
