I had an interview for a school in Dubai over a week ago. They had said that we would be all contacted regardless of acceptance or not. How long do you usually have to wait to hear back from an international school?

Anywhere from 1 hour to 1 month.

I have just had on offer from a school that I last talked to over a month ago.

Staffing a school in a juggling act, they will be trying to guesstimate how many students will be signing up next year and how many will be doing IB.

There will also be staff who are not 100% certain for next year.

  3. Hey,

That's great news, I hope you get it.
But don't worry! It often takes at least a few weeks to hear anything.
If you're concerned, you could always contact the school and ask (very politely) for more information on the matter.
But as I said, it's not uncommon to hear nothing for a month!

    Hang on in there,
All the best and good luck!
