On a separate matter, some Victorian sanitary ware manufacturers produced men's urinals with a painting of a bee below the glazed surface as an 'aiming spot'.
The modern day urinals at Schipol Airport have this too.
Most educated Victorian men would have understood the pun but this may be lost on today's generations.
The Latin for bee is 'Apis'.
Actually, it was the Brian Hanrahan who did that.
These days you would need to put a fly in to remind them
Reminds me of the Tim Vine joke:
