How do you deal with life stress(not work)?

    Life has its stresses THAT IT THROWS in your face.
    Stress at work is one issue but how do others cope with life's stresses.
    I was doing deep breathing as was waiting for the emergency electrician today ...

    I do believe that different things work for different people so it may take trying a few things to finally get to something that helps.

    I tend to write a lot of stuff down. So keeping a diary where I can vent/say how I feel really helped and then I have started buying them 5 minute journals and the 642 things to write about books (theres quite a few), normally simple things to write about. I found they keep me focused for a few minutes a day and help me remain quite calm.

    I often forget to do things so writing things down may have a positive.
