We teach a Life Skills Curriculum to mainly SLD and low level MLD students. We use an assessment system based on the level of support students receive to complete the objectives. In addition we use qualitative statements to add value to these assessments. I have written about the assessment we use in a blog post which you can view here:
    http://senclassroom.wordpress.com/2012/02/23/assessment-of-life-skills-how/

The curriculum is made up of:
    Outdoor and Practical Learning
    Meal Preparation,
    Core Skills - English Maths
    ICLP's specific target work
    Creative use of ICT
    Hobbies,
    Expressive Arts
    Work Related Learning
    Sports

In addition we also follow the ASDAN Personal and Social Development qualification which has its own assesment criteria.
