How do I disable or preferably remove Google tracking?

I like Chrome but apparently if you do not remove the Google tracking immediately on downloading, then Google will track you. I can see this with the ads and 'suggestions' I get as pop-ups. Rather than remove and download Chrome again, does anyone know if I can take care of removing this ' service' a faster way?
  2. you can use a third party software called "Chrome privacy guard" or (much better IMO) replace Chrome with a browser called SRWare Iron. It is exactly like Chrome but without the tracking.

Remember that Google and your ISP will be collecting info on your searches anyway. [IMG]
