How can I get replacement qts certificates - HELP!!!

Discussion in 'New teachers' started by dowjohnty, Sep 15, 2011.

  1. I have just started my NQT and have been asked by my professional mentor for my QTS skills certificates and GTC certificate.
Unfortunately I have just moved over 200 miles in order to get this job and somewhere along the way from manchester to surrey via wakefield I have lost these.
Can anyone help me, I have trawled the gtce website but have found no answers for this.

Any Help would be much appreciated.

QTS - Ring up your college with debit card at the ready. Ask to speak to registry department, ask for duplicate of your certificate, and pay fee. Simple as. I received mine the next day :)
GTC - DO you have a GTC certificate? Thought it was just a number? Ring GTCE up and ask them. Can;t help you with contacts, I am with welsh one, but they are really helpful.

Confirmation of your status and qualifications can be obtained from the GTCE. the online check allows the school to confirm QTS and whether you have started induction. Replacement certificates are also issued by them.
info@gtce.org.uk is the email contact and there is an online query form on their website
