Hi, I am a qualified teacher in the state sector but I have been approached by an independent school to run a pre prep language club . Any idea what I should be charging as an hourly rate?

    Thanks

£50. My standard hourly tutoring fee. I also do primary school Saturday Maths before the SATS for £80 for 2 hours. Anything less and you are selling yourself short. You are a qualified teacher. Own it.

I am paid £50/hr to run evening and weekend intervention sessions.
Turns my weekdays into 14 hour days with the waiting about after school until the session starts and the subsequent long drive home, so I wasn't prepared to do it for less than that.
