Horrid Henry worksheets?

Discussion in 'Primary' started by Ilovemarmite, May 6, 2008.

  1. Hi, there's some pretty good ideas on the Orion books website which I've used with my Year 2's. It's www.orionbooks.co.uk and you need to do a search for Francesca Simon, the author and look at the Teacher's Notes ideas. The best lesson in terms of the children's enjoyment was them writing their own glop recipes using as many disgusting adjectives as they could think of. We them made glop using cornflour and water with yucky bits added for effect!!
I've really enjoyed using the Horrid Henry stories as you can do some great work with similes, metaphors, alliteration and character profiles etc.
