X Factor? Honey G is in the house!
Doesn't do it for me. No way. Just don't get it.
Joke Factor more like.
Saturday TV is awful right now...
Strictly is good.
It's a parody of a middle class white rapper, like Ally G in a female format. However, she is Marmite: You love or hate her. #mummyg #daddyg - it's all clever.
We watched LA Confidential...
Do people still watch broadcast TV on a Saturday night? ... wow nostalgia.
We are watching a very long first episode of Brideshead Revisited on DVD.
It is helping with the trauma caused by accidentally seeing a bit of Strictly earlier, with Ed ******** as a knight in shining armour....
Oh, my days.
We recorded X-factor- liked a comment on gogglebox (I think) that it's Dave Cameron in a wig.....
If you don't watch X Factor or Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Cringe Affair, live, as they happen, you really don't get the same effect
Now my kids are in their 20s and off and about at the weekends, I no longer have to sit through hours of sob stories interspersed with the odd bit of caterwauling. Hooray.
I'm really enjoying Strictly, after which I read a good book.
Life is bereft!
Saturday night TV:
I have a theory that Honey G is an actress involved in a big send up. She must know that she is just a joke and she doesn't come across as deluded enough to be taking herself seriously. I can't believe that people are voting her in either. She is being kept in for the "entertainment" value.
Hmmm I watched some of this show last night and felt the judges were enjoying a bit of a laarf (for which they are paid handsomely ) and they just happened to be on a TV show.
I'd agree but for one thing....she isn't entertaining!
