  1. Teachers are on 2 different contracts at my college - a standard teaching contract which gives 13 weeks holiday and a Learning and Skills contract which is 7 weeks holiday. All new teachers tend to be put on the Learning and Skills contract particularly if their work is mainly with Adults.
  2. We get 39 days holiday and can have up to 5 days TOIL.
  3. There is quite a difference then . We theoretically get TOIL but it has to be taken in the following week and as there is never anyone to cover......it can't be saved until the summer break.
    It seems that parity is still a long way off.
    Now, what is IfL doing about that.......
