I am in Turkey for a wedding and return on 10th June. Have been notified flights have changed by 11 hours. Now arrive back in airport 2am ob Monday. Can I request a day unpaid? Has anyone got experience of this?

You can ask but you might not be allowed. It depends on your school policy. Some schools say it is at the discretion of the head and governors. For others it would be a straight NO. Just ask.
Show them evidence that the original flight would have got you back in plenty of time and show them paperwork to show it has been changed through no fault of your own. This may help.

I am being allowed half a day unpaid so can hopefully get some sleep before going to school for 1! Fingers crossed it is not delayed.
