We're getting a fake deep dive later this month.
So exci... excib... excreab... excitiii....exit through the gift shop.... exishitfit....exilharantiano... exkit...
Nope I have no words.
Oooh yes Mr Inspector... deep dive me... probe my practice deep and tell me what a naughty boy I've been mmmm
Thank you @blazer , I laughed!
(I like the Google Drive moment)
We've just had one of those. It was as every bit as horrific as I expected it to be.
I just simply don't understand why teachers (collectively) tolerate such nonsense.
What's an Ofsted Deep Dive?
I genuinely don't know.
Promise I'm not gloating.
<ducks behind parapet at sight of incoming missiles>
I'm seeing you on Wednesday. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry....
It's a massively intense look into one subject. Lessons, planning, books, threads, progression etc etc etc
Ha ha ha! Love it!
Particularly the bit about UPS...
I was in the meeting on this in my school.
We were told our SLT and The Ofsted people decided together which departments would be subjected to this.
I just hope it doesn't mean me actually having to speak with any inspectors.
Get on the phone to T w I n k l ... class!
Absolutely. Plenty of MAT CEOs must be feeling like this.
Good. **** 'em.
I don't understand this reference.
I don't know either... the Unions seem silent on most big issues these days.
Maybe I'm missing something. NEU might have tweeted something.
It's a resource company. Worksheets, displays etc. Widely used in primary schools.
T w i n k l is a resource website. Kind of a one stop shop for delivering the Primary curriculum - not groundbreaking and a bit lacking in creativity but the place to go if you need a generic powerpoint, bit of display, emergency planning, worksheets etc. It does cost money though.
'Get T w i n k l on the phone' I took to mean that Adolf was considering a subscription so his staff could start delivering foundation subjects. In quite a dull generic way. It loses something in the translation.
Ah thank you both. I did wonder from the vid.
I just checked a couple of NEU Twitter accounts... mostly the 6th form college strikes. A bit about Brexit. Nothing about deep dives sprang up.
