history artifacts for schools

Discussion in 'Primary' started by michie_49, Aug 22, 2009.

  1. does anyone know anywhere you can rent these sorts of things out? School doesnt really have buget to buy lots of stuff in but i am imagining they could push to renting some. When I was at uni the library used to have history suit cases with artifacts inside sorted into topics. Cant seem to find anything like this for actual teachers! I'm teach in london. Anyone hear of such things? Any help much apreciated! Thanks
  2. sorry for typos-I'm in a hurry to go out. oops x
  3. Some museums/public libraries loan artefact kits to schools - you could try Googling for museums near you.
  4. Articles of Antiquity (or something like that) sell them
  5. I'm not sure about places that rent out artefacts, but we sell a lot of cheap items (under £5). If you email me at vicky@artifaqs.co.uk I'd be happy to send you a sample.
