  1. Many thanks again to all those who have contributed to this thread. The American angle was very interesting. I eventually settled on misleading histogram for my lesson and it went down well, it really helped the pupils to see the point of dividing by the interval width in order to make each category 'fair'. I also used a little demo in Photoshop to show how histograms (equal class intervals) are used in image editing.
