Hickey Multisensory Language System

  1. I have used this in Ks2 for a number of years and it works well, hopw this helps.

     
  2. It's probably best used 1:1 or small groups and is suitable for any age, including secondary. The ethos behind it can be used for whole class aswell, although probably for younger ones as initial teaching of phonics. Some schemes such as Ruth Miskin's Read Write Inc or Fresh Start (for upper KS2) follow a similar approach.
