The dad who wants his daughter's Halloween costume to be 'more than cute'

'Fed up with "cute" Halloween costumes for his little girls, one father is demanding more options for fancy dress.

John Marcotte, a feminist blogger with Heroic Girls, started the hashtag #MoreThanCute after years of disappointing trips to the shops.

Man's got a good argument when he describes the trajectory of cute but he's doing something practical about it. You can't educate people out of 'gender stereotypes', hiring in motivational speakers and plastering your walls with posters - you have to let people speak for themselves and give them hammers to break down the walls for themselves.
