I read it all in one go and I was pleasantly surprised that Tickell has actually listened to us. Still a bit woolly in parts and I would still like it explicitly stated about what we are expected to teach (she does mention that this is vital) and what can be child led. The reduced profile I can see working with the emergent, expected and exceeding statements. Where does it leave us though with regards to evidence collection? I like that she is critical of LA and Ofsted and how they have demanded too much. Just have to wait and see what the government makes of it, if they understand!!!
