Helping transition to year 7

Discussion in 'Welcome lounge and forum help' started by stamfordbridge, Nov 20, 2008.

  1. CALLING ALL KS3 TEACHERS!!

I am very aware that there are a number of factors involved in the transition of kids from year 6 to year 7.

However, leaving the majority to one side, can you tell me what knowledge (in particular core subjects) and skills, you feel the kids are most commonly missing when you embark on teaching a year 7 class?

    All thoughts welcome!
