Hi, I wondered if there are video resources out there to show parents how to support reading at home. We have a mixed catchment area with some parents coming to all out meetings and some who don't or can't. It would be really useful to have a link on our website to show what it looks like to read with an emergent reader, a yellow sticker level, orange etc, and then how you develop comprehension when a child reads silently to themselves.

Is there anything already done that we can use?

There are some parent tutorials on Ruth Miskin.com I don't know if they are what you want. A lot focus on phonics blending. She also has one on story time at home.
