can anyone clear up this puzzle. Scenario ..... teacher has been on long term sick leave is signed back to work by her doctor ...... head teacher will not allow teacher in school until she has also seen the OH.Head says time off is with pay .... teacher sees OH 3 days later he agrees with teachers doctor ..... Head teacher is informed immediately ..... Teachers hears nothing from HT .... meanwhile teacher is informed that her pay is to be halved by Human Resources pay section . Teacher has been signed back to work by her doctor for the 5 weeks ..... should pay be halved as head has not informed HR that teacher teacher has been signed back to work for the last 5 weeks and it was the head who had decided not to allow teacher in to work not illness.

Contact HR: hopefully it will just be a case of the head not having informed them.
