HELP: Year 3 maths lesson for an interview on written methods of addition and subtraction

Discussion in 'Mathematics' started by slteach18, Apr 21, 2012.

  1. Hi there! I am currently studying for an Early Years PGCE and I have got an interview on Monday. They have asked me to teach a 30 minute lesson to year three on written methods of addition and subtraction. Being an early years specialist I have never taught above year two and feel very anxious! Any ideas would be amazing!!!

    Thanks in advance, S

  4. Do you want the job? Or do you want one of US to get the job? Come up with ideas and we'll make suggestions. If you cannot plan a lesson on this topic on your own, how do you expect to be able to do it day in day out?
cyolba, looking at the third thread on "Do my job for me" :)
