help...year 1 doubling

Discussion in 'Primary' started by littlemissnewbie, Nov 12, 2009.

  1. Hi all, I have my first lesson observation next week teaching doubling to a year 1 class.
Am usually good with ideas but because I know I'm being observed my head is in a spin!!
Does anyone have any stand-out activities that have worked well? Either for introducing in whole class session or independent work.
Any ideas greatfully received... thanks in advance xx

How wierd! I'm doing doubling for my observation with my head next week too! I made a post in the NQTs forum - there might be some ideas you can use in that, and i'm going to use some ideas from here!
I need some independent activities, even better if they're pitched at year 1 as some of mine are at that level. Anyone think of any? pleeeeease?! xx

  3. Thanks lillipad I'll have a look on the NQT forum now x
