    Hi

I have an interview coming up in a college. They have said I will have to
complete a 10 minute presentation but i will not be given the details of
this on the day. Has anyone experienced this?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi
Your question does not make sense.
Do you mean that they will not give you the topic till on the day or they will not give you feedback till on the day?
My interview presentation topic was given to me in my invite for interview letter.
What subject is your interview for?

I have been reading up about 10 min microteach as I also have to deliver one but to answer your question yes sometimes the topic is given on the day.

I'm assuming they're looking for how quick you think on your feet and the usual: starter, main and plenary.

Did the rest of you manage to squeeze starter, main and plenary in 10 mins?

All you can do is consider your audience, what they know already, what you want them to know, and what can you realistically get across to them in a memorable way in 10 minutes.
