    Hi All,

I was just wondering if someone could help me with this question so I can help my brother with the other 5 he also has to do.
I havent done Maths in a while so have no idea.
Even a link to a website that helps you with this would be good.

    1/7 divide by 4 = _/_ of 1/7 = _/_

Multiplying by what fraction gives the same result as dividing by four? That gives the first missing fraction. Then multiply this fraction by 1/7.

Are there no similar examples in your brother's book?

Sometimes half the battle is understanding the question!
The equivalent of "divide by 4" is "Find 1/4 of it"
The other thing to understand next is that commonly in Maths the word "of" can be replaced by "x". Does that help?
