The Gatsby Foundation believes that practical work is the essence of school science, and we have a strong tradition of laboratory science. But that could be under threat, from budget pressures and exam requirements. Independent researchers Pye Tait Consulting have been commissioned to survey schools & colleges about a set of 10 benchmarks believed to define good practical science. All responses will be treated confidentially and reported anonymously to the Gatsby Foundation.
