help please? "were you subject to a superannuation scheme in a previous employment?"

Discussion in 'Personal' started by Ellie_MFL, Mar 19, 2012.

  1. Hi all,
This question appears on an application form that I am currently completing... and I want to make sure that I am putting the correct answer!
"were you subject to a superannuation scheme in a previous employment?"
so I have 2 questions: 1. Is a superannuation scheme the same as the Teachers Pension Scheme?
    2. Does 'being subject to' the scheme mean contributing to it, or claiming a pension from it?
Can anyone help please? Hopefully there is a quick answer to this!
    Thanks!
