Help please- has anyone been in this situation?

    The best teacher of course!
    So they seem to be giving you both a chance to show off your skills in situ as it were. Go in and show them how good you are and why they can't afford to pass you up.

    Go in as if you were doing a day of supply. This will give you time to find out where you are teaching and what. Good luck!

     
  3. Will you paid for the 'trial day', or have you been told that it is an unpaid trial day? Beware of this sort of thing: sometimes it can be genuine, but schools seem to have as many prospective candidates on trial days as they have days to cover. The sudden appearance of 'another candidate', when you thought that they wanted you, does make me wonder.
