Help!! PGCE History Interview advice, Nottingham Uni

Discussion in 'Thinking of teaching' started by kazwilliamson, May 7, 2011.

  1. Hey there.

I have an interview at Nottingham University for PGCE History, on the 19th May. I am so nervous. I have to do a one hour lesson on a key stage 3 topic of my choice, and I was thinking of doing religious change in Tudor England, focusing in on Henry VIII's decision to break with Rome to show how it was sparked off. I am not sure if this is too broad, and I am so nervous about it. I was hoping for advice on the written task part too.
Experience wise, I THINK I am okay. I am just nervous about my lesson plan mainly, in case I go too broad or too specific..

Any help would be very greatly appreciated!!

    Thank you :)
