Hi I am doing castles and also looking for ideas to do this as well with my class.
Hi, We did it and it was fun. I havr got a pdf document with castles stuff which includes a simple dance. I can't find the link but will email if you can leave your address
Oooh may I have a copy please firstname.lastname@example.org
That would be great! thanks
Longman used to publish a simple book of medieval dances with simple recorder parts to go with it. I can't remember what it was called, but if I find it, I shall post title on this thread.
I have done one with my reception class. We all stood in a circle and learnt the step which was step, step, step hop. We then all held hands and followed the teacher who made snakeing shapes all round the room.
This is a paupers dance so is less 'uptight' than other medievel dances.
Good fun but can get boisterous.
