Longman used to publish a simple book of medieval dances with simple recorder parts to go with it. I can't remember what it was called, but if I find it, I shall post title on this thread.

  6. I have done one with my reception class. We all stood in a circle and learnt the step which was step, step, step hop. We then all held hands and followed the teacher who made snakeing shapes all round the room.
This is a paupers dance so is less 'uptight' than other medievel dances.
Good fun but can get boisterous.
