  1. I am tired and fog headed! Year 8 doing SOW on rite of passage- birth and adolescent (we then do marriage and death in year 9)
They have done Christianity and Judaism, I am trying to do it as an extended writing/exam style question.
So really I thought two questions- one on birth and one on adolescent. Thought one could be describe and explain and the second an evaluation/exam style question (like a quote with agree.disagree)
It is the second one I am struggling with.....

What about something along the lines of "Having rituals in your life helps give it a meaning and purpose.". This would allow them to look at the fors and against for having structure in a religious sense to our lives and would mean that they would haev to show prior learning and understanding. Any good?

  4. or you could do "You should not become part of a religion until you're old enough to fully understand it" then you could look at believers v infat baptism and bar mitzvahs and confirmation.

  5. Thank you so much! It seems so simple, but my brain is fried at the moment!
