Help me be an evil dictator

Discussion in 'Primary' started by Elohim, Apr 12, 2011.

  1. Hi there,
I teach at an international school.

For a Year 6 project I am running for President (as a dictator). The project is designed for each student to run for President against the dictator and against each other in order to develop critical thinking skills:

Could you please help me list anymore believable policies that would get children to argue against the evil dictator... so far I have the following:

    • We will become the greatest nation
on Earth by doing the following things:

[*]No more contact with the outside
world. We can survive alone without the negativities of other
    countries effecting us.

[*]No more arguing with each other.
We can all have the same ideas and live in peace.

[*]No more unemployment. The
government will takeover all businesses and give everyone a job.

[*]No more money wasted on local
governments and senators. We can all be united as one nation and
follow the same laws and initiatives.

Could you say something along the lines of "Only one child per family in order to ensure sustainability with regard to food and housing supplies"?
And what about something about rationing food and clothes to make sure everyone gets the same?
