Help! Looking for story about visit of a king?

Discussion in 'Religious Education' started by bgy1mm, Nov 25, 2011.

  1. Get the book Sovereign by C.J. Samson. The first few chapters describe Henry VIII's "Progress" to York in 1541. There's a passage you will find particularly useful where the townsmen are briefed on how to behave before the king.

thanks for the above ideas! Have given me a lot to think about! :)
  3. Søren Kierkegaard's parable, "The King and the Maiden"

There really is no other story that even comes close except for the story of one who enters on a donkey.......

I looked this up on google and am adding it to my resource on stories about kings etc. I haven't read it yet but take your word for its suitability.
