Help! Is it acceptable to ask for a contact in your new school??

    Perfectly acceptable, and a good school would already have provided you with a contact in your department/section.

    Completely normal. If they don't want to give you one I'd be quite concerned.
     
  3. look at expat forums in KL...................that's usually a good indicator
