Help! Advice needed asap

  1. Ok guys, I really need your help. I am really confused about the whole application process for 2012.
I am looking to either complete a SCITT course, a GTP or PGCE as the last option.
    The
training providers I have contacted have stated that there is a new
system in place as of 2012, whereby you apply through the TDA website.
Does this mean there is a direct application form and if so, will they
except those who are currently working towards their GCSE maths? as I am
starting mine in September of this year, in hopes of having the grade
in place by September 2012. The GTTR doesn't seem to allow this option,
although it has an option for equivalency tests.
Please help guys. I don't want to have to wait another year :(

  3. When I applied through the GTTR last year (I wasn't aware there was a new system for 2012 - but I expect it will be similar) I had to put my grades, dates and examining bodies on the application. I would ring the TDA and ask what to do.
It might be best to do a quick pass Maths course, are there any colleges near you that do intensive courses, or a Uni that can offer an equivalency course? If you are applying for primary then you have until 31st November to be considered by your first choice, and Secondary it's around Jan/Feb I think.
    Good luck with it all.
p.s. it's accept not except [IMG]

  4. Thanks for that.
Yes I noticed my spelling mistake straight away, oh dear! Not a good start. I'm just really worrying at the moment!
I can't find any quicker test routes than the ones I have already found. I'm just hoping I will be accepted onto the training course with a conditional offer at least!
