I will make one up for you to sing to the tune of 'I'm a little teapot'. I'm a little hedgehog short and stout. See my prickles, see my snout. If you want to see me, look about. Say hallo but please don't shout.

If you would like further verses you only have to say the word!

4.
The Hedgehog

What's this round and prickly thing?
Can it be a pincushin?

No! Pincushions never grow
In the fields where daisies blow

Oh! and now I see a nose
With four little tiny toes,

And as it opens in the sun
How those black beetles cut and run!

But see, it hears a barking dog
And rolls up safe, that poor hedgehog.

got this from googling hedehog rhymes...there seemed to be more!

Good Morning, Mr Hedgehog.

[IMG] The morning's fine, the sunbeams shine,
We hope you've come to stay.[IMG]We love your bright eyes twinkling,
And your shiny prickles too.

[IMG]So small and round, upon the ground,
How funny to be you.
We used to sing this in hymn practice and I always remember one of my class looking at the pianist and saying "good afternoon Mrs Hedgehog"

Cute rhyme and pic Msz.

Don't know what tune but one a little similar to here we go looby lou.

A hedgehog is very prickly,a hedgehog is very prickly,

a hedgehog is very prickly he couldn't be anything else.

A snake is very slithery, a snake is very slithery, a snake is very slithery,

He couldn't be anything else. etc.

8. Sweet rhyme Msz how did you add the photos I just tried and didn't work

9. That has just finished off my number hedgehog display nicely- and nice and easy for two year olds to learn too.
Thank you
