Health and safety at work: spot the hazard

Discussion in 'Computing and ICT' started by Eruditus, Sep 13, 2010.

  1. I'm sure we have all attended training sessions where comical spot the difference posters were used to highlight obvious hazards in an office environment... the question is where can I find a good one online?

    Can anyone help?

  2. Anyone know where there is a good checklist / advice for doing an audit for health and safety in an IT department in school? The boss said on Friday that she really ought to do one!

    good lesson on H&S issues
would also recommend looking up the IOSH (Institute of Occupational Safety & Health) website, as they have an online programme that deals with a programme to be delivered to pupils going into work experience, online, interactive, and I can't find it today to save my life, but it was there yesterday as I've just re-registered for it.
And of course where the HSE doesn't really do this sort of stuff, all the info you need will be there.
    Hopes this helps.

  4. There was a good eg in an old A Level textbook poss Mott & Rendell or Leeming which I scanned years ago and use as a starter. Have a look through your old books.
