Im currently filling in a job application for the role of head teacher. I just wanted to check I was on the right lines. I have got the person spec and I am explaining how I meet each of the points giving evidence as much as possible. My only concern is I am not really putting in a lot of specifics about my vision for the school - just a small amount where appropriate. Is this ok or should I focus more on the vision? Also is 2 sides of A4 about right for the length?

Have you read all the advice? See below. I've included things not relevant to you for benefit of other posters.

    My suggestion would be:

Keep the specifics of the person specification for the E.S. Your letter will only look bitty if you put all that in there.

Then in the latter dwell more on the more important aspects of the Person Specification and Job Description (yes, come on, there is one!), including your vision.
