Have you got the wind?

I have, and it is really strong. I had to dash out for some drilling and screwing to save the fences. It ripped off one of my side gates the other day. Just totally ripped all the screws out of the hinges. I guess I'm going to have to modify the gates as "barn door" stylie are too wind prone.

Not really. It doesn't seem to have reached Eastern England just yet. But I did get two loads of washing fairly dry today. I deliberately don't own a tumble dryer.

If I had put washing out it would be in Eastern England!

I've just seen a tabby cat go flying past - is Tigger where he's supposed to be?

It's seriously windy where we are-only nipped out to quickly get some milk for tea to drink while doing my marking, and whad'y'know? Got blown into the pub!

I'm in the southwest and the wind is supposed to be arriving tomorrow and gale force overnight into Monday .

Ireland and Wales are supposed to really be in for some trouble weather wise .
    Stay safe everyone.

No wind in these parts yet

But I've just eaten some sprouts so I'll let you know,

Yeah, thanks, I'm in north Wales. (It wasn't Tigger flying past, probably a sheep in disguise.)

So that's where it came from! I did wonder who the dinky little hotpants belonged to...

I had Brie cheese for lunch so it's windy here on the hill.

It's those Thomas the Tank Engine Pyjamas I can't get over.

We actually reside in what I refer to as "The Pocket" - when we do get strong winds we are generally protected by the houses around us and usually get away with it.

They probably blew off a Welsh sheep. :)

I'm glad it wasn't Tigger , I do hope he / she / it wasn't like one of my other pet cats one called Domino springs to mind. .
The wind is picking up here now - I can't apologise enough for my partner and his malfunctioning digestive system and unlike Peakster he hasn't even started on the sprouts !
Glad you have a wind shield peakster . Just wish I had !

Just a bit slightly draughty here after a day of calm. Good old UK - can turn on a sixpence!

Coo - the wind kept me awake last night.
Nothing keeps me awake, normally. That was seriously blowy.

It is supposed to get worse today along the west coast of northern england and wales. I am inland a fair bit, but higher up. I'm going to go round and see if anything wants moving or weighing down, or tethering.
