Have they changed their minds?

Discussion in 'Jobseekers' started by Awakefield, Apr 3, 2011.

  1. Hi there,

I went for an interview for a dream job last week and 4 days ago got a letter saying I hadn't got the job. Naturally I was disappointed and am now trying to forget about it! However, today I spoke to one of my referees and she said that she received a letter from the school requesting a reference yesterday. This would mean that it was sent after they had turned me down for the job so I am a bit confused as to what this might mean. Is this normal?
  2. I didn't get my dream job yesterday so just hoping that they'll change their minds or the other candidate will reject the job.... One can only hope.
