I can't stand it when you ask someone how they are and instead of saying the usual 'fine' or 'very well thankl you' they say
    " I'm good"
It drives me so up the wall I feel like smacking them

  2. For me it's the whole McDonalds thing of "I'm loving it"
    "I'm loving that idea"
    "I'm loving your shoes" etc

    How annoying Singora.
Today I heard someone say on their mobile
    'we was' and 'they was'
I felt crazy listening to that

That one really irritates me too. We all know what it means but it just doesn't make sense. Where did it come from anyway?

    And

'We must take the global view'. Especially when it only involves a few people.

The general use of 'sorry' when you mean 'excuse me'. When did excuse me get replaced?

    Ugh. The first one.

    Also a phrase.

    Going forward.

Look! If you use a future tense e.g. "We aim to improve the punctuality of the service."

YOU DON'T FLIPPIN' NEED TO ADD 'GOING FORWARD'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

'Evidence' when used as a verb.
I detest 'Comfort Zone'. Last resort of a scoundrel is that one.
'And I was like.. And he/she was like..' ad nauseam
'Hello, how are you today?' From anonymous call centre drones making unsolicited sales calls.

Perfect thread for something that annoyed me over dinner... Wife has a subscription to a magazine called 'Essentials'..

In it, a piece about frozen yogurt... and how to... make it more exciting... or as they put it 'pimp it up'.

    Pimp...

Do I need to explain why this annoys me or can I just assume you all get it and move on?
