Has anyone taught 'Heroes' by Robert Cormier for GCSE?

Discussion in 'English' started by fluffykat_9, May 15, 2009.

  1. I finished reading it yesterday and luckily we do have a class set in the stok cupboard, but have never known it to be taught at my school. so I am fortunate that I do not have to buy it in. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it and can understand how pupils would engage with it, particularly the boys.

Thebigonion, that activity pack would be wonderfuly if the offer is still there, if you e-mail me thn I can respond back with my address.

  2. I'm planning to start this novel for the first time in September and would be grateful for any resources that you have!

It sometimes worked well on the legacy lit exam but it's not a set text for AQA new spec Literature so you could only use it for English Language CA Extended Reading.
