Harris academies

    If you look at the DfE performance and achievement tables, some Harris academies have results that are a mile ahead of the local authority and national average, others do not. Why is that?

    Simple: some were previously extremely high performing schools which the govt 'encouraged' to turn themselves into academies in order to inflate the overall academy success statistics.
