Scottish footballer Jane O'Toole dislocates her knee cap, but bashes it back into place before playing on for the remainder of the game. Ouch.

Yeesh. Having seen PCjr with her knee cap dislocated I can't imagine how Jane O'Toole did that. So much pain.

In a recent game of Ice Hockey in Canada - one of the players got a stick in the face that knocked out most of his front teeth and broke his jaw. They wired up his jaw (without much pain relief) in the dressing room and he returned to play on.

I’m in awe. I got a paper cut on my finger yesterday and I’m still whining about it.

I have soon something similar on the rugby pitch (dislocated shoulder) but that is impressive!

Some people have kneecaps that popout like that and can be put back without huge difficulty.

Once saw a mate put his two middle fingers back in and carry on playing.

I think Beckenbauer player on in a world cup game wearing a sling after breaking his collarbone and dislocating his shoulder.

Stuff like this always makes me think of Ally Maxwell, Motherwell goalkeeper who played on with broken ribs

In my view, the names of Scottish football clubs are the best.

They used to entrance me as a kid!

Partick Thistle: Heart of Midlothian: Queen of the South: Forfar Athletic: Hamilton Academical: and so on............

My Daughter is a physio - she has had to put dislocated shoulders back in a few times.
