Sainsburys had hot cross buns yesterday and I have just enjoyed one with a cup of tea.

The cream eggs aren't in yet though. Must be late this year.

I tried to convince my form to do easter cards recently - for some reason they didn't want to go with it.

    Very bad mannered of them.

You need to give a card along with the hot cross buns and easter eggs.

I have just mentioned this to my husband who was totally unsurprised. It turns out that he did not know that Hot Cross Buns are eaten at Easter. I am shocked!

Didn't he think it was unusual that a bread product had a cross on it?

I asked him that. Apparently he had never made the link.

I mentioned last week that I'd come across a display of Creme Eggs in the local newsagent's shop. I couldn't resist shouting "WHAT ARE YOU PLAYING AAAT?!"
    It was still November.
    People were buying them.

We can get hot cross buns all year round.

He is a bit of an idiot but I think he understands when you would expect to eat Easter Eggs and Christmas Pudding.

His excuse is that he doesn't like Hot Cross Buns so has never paid them any attention.

    I know that.

But where can I score cream eggs?
