Handing in my notice

Discussion in 'Teaching assistants' started by LaureRichis, Jun 12, 2011.

  1. I am going to hand in my notice and plan to speak to my Head beforehand as I know that I will have to speak to her at some time about my reasons for leaving. However I work in Primary, and I presume that in Secondary there may not be as close relationships with the Headteacher as there is in Primary.
Good luck with whatever you have planned for the future.

You can hand in your resignation at any time - I'd do it face to face with a letter. State that your last day is 31/8 to cover all bases.
Are you moving to another TA job?
