I have about 3 litres of ham stock sitting in the freezer that I want to use.
I made ham and pea/pea and ham soup with the other 3l box - any suggestions for this one?
    Thanks

I always use ham stock in lentil or split peas soups...or you could use it to flavour the white sauce in a chicken and ham pie, or in a risotto?

Always use it in a minestrone.
Other than soups or porcine risottos (risotti?), I'm not sure...
Could be the basis of the jelly in a raised pork pie? Or in jambon persilee?

  5. It is lovely in a mushroom and barley soup.
    Or in a potato soup.
And of course, it is divine in a lentil soup (especially a brown lentil soup).
Or in a mixed bean casserole.

my trouvble there, of course, is that I don't like soup...as documented elsewhere, I would rather not e\t!!
