GTP Observation Foci

Discussion in 'Primary' started by katiekat123, Jan 8, 2012.

  1. Hi Everyone!
I am currently on an Early Years GTP and have to be observed 3 times a week minimum. I am struggling to think of enough observation foci, I have had a few observations on things such as behaviour management, teacher talk, questioning, differentiation, inclusion, pupil engagement but was just wondering if anyone could give me some pointers for other ideas?
    Thanks in advance.

You shouldn't really be planning all this in advance. When you have your first observation, you should be given things to improve upon, these then form the focus of the next observation.

Your next observation should focus on whatever you had to improve from the previous one.
