Grumpy!

Discussion in 'English' started by mrsd1983, Mar 31, 2012.

  1. God, I am so bloody grumpy. Always am first day of the holidays. Think all the stress and adrenaline from term time has nowhere to manifest itself. I wake up and thinkg, "controlled assessments....new C/D borderline 11V group who hate English but have got a C in maths and therefore have been given 8 lessons of English a week..... severely SEN y7 group.....ALevel ids that don't want to think for themselves....top set y10 that want to get A* but don't want to even READ a novel...then I realise I don't have to think about any of that for two weeks. Sigh. So instead I worry about painting the house, going to the gym, cleaning blah blah blah.

I am 28 and am well aware that teaching has turned me in to a grumpy old woman - way ahead of my time!

Don't worry, this is perfectly normal. It will go away three days before the end of the holidays. Two days before the end of the holidays it will of course start again in readiness for the new term. Make sure you enjoy that one day. [IMG]
